Sofa Cleaning in Islamabad and Rawalpindi

What sofa cleaning actually removes

A sofa absorbs everything that happens on it. Body oils and sweat transfer into the fabric every time someone sits down, food and drink spills soak past the surface into the foam, and airborne dust settles into the weave and works downward. None of that is on the surface, which is why vacuuming and wiping make almost no difference — the dirt that changes how a sofa looks and smells is inside the fabric, not on it.

Proper sofa cleaning is a two-part process. A cleaning solution is worked into the fabric to break down the oils and lift the embedded soil, then a hot-water extraction machine pulls the solution back out along with everything it has released. The extraction is the part that matters. Shampooing alone leaves residue behind that attracts dirt faster afterwards, which is why sofas cleaned badly get dirty again very quickly.

We clean sofas at homes and offices across Islamabad and Rawalpindi — fabric three-seaters and L-shapes, armchairs, dining and office chairs, ottomans and headboards. It is our most requested single-item service, usually booked before Eid, before guests, after a spill, or simply because a light-coloured sofa has gradually gone grey and nobody noticed until they looked at the cushion underneath.

What is included in a sofa clean

Every seat is treated individually. Pricing is normally per seat, so a three-seater plus two armchairs is five seats.

  • Inspection and fabric test — we check the fabric type and test a hidden area before applying anything to a visible surface
  • Dry vacuuming — deep vacuum of the fabric, seams, crevices and under the cushions to lift loose grit before any moisture goes in
  • Stain pre-treatment — individual treatment of visible marks, food, drink and oil spots before the main clean
  • Shampoo application — cleaning solution agitated into the fabric to break down embedded oils and soil
  • Hot-water extraction — the solution and everything it has lifted pulled back out of the fabric under suction
  • Cushions cleaned on both sides, plus the frame, arms, back panel and skirt
  • Deodorising — treatment of the odour source in the fabric, not a perfume sprayed over the top
  • Controlled drying — air movers used so the sofa is left damp, not wet, and dries within hours rather than days

What this service does not include

  • Leather and rexine sofas — these need conditioning rather than wet extraction, so ask us and we will tell you honestly whether we can help
  • Repair of torn fabric, broken frames, sagging foam or loose stitching
  • Guaranteed removal of permanent dye stains, bleach marks, ink or paint — we will always tell you at inspection what will and will not come out
  • Re-upholstery or foam replacement
  • Curtain cleaning while hung, which is quoted separately

How it works

  1. Tell us what you have

Number of seats, the fabric if you know it, and any particular stains or smells. A photo on WhatsApp lets us quote accurately — you get one fixed price in writing before we come.

  2. Inspection and honest assessment

We check the fabric and test a hidden patch. If a stain is not going to come out, we say so before you commit rather than after.

  3. Vacuum, treat, shampoo, extract

Loose grit vacuumed out first, stains pre-treated individually, then shampoo worked in and hot-water extracted seat by seat.

  4. Dry and check

Air movers speed the drying, and we go through the result with you before leaving.

What affects the price

  • Number of seats

The main factor. A single armchair and a seven-seat L-shape are very different jobs, and we price per seat.

  • Fabric type

Some fabrics need gentler solutions, more passes or slower work. Delicate materials take longer.

  • How dirty it is

A sofa cleaned yearly costs less than one that has never been cleaned in eight years of daily use.

  • Stains and odour

Heavy staining, pet odour or smoke smell need extra pre-treatment and sometimes a second pass.

  • Location and access

Which area of the city, which floor, and whether there is lift access for the machine.

Frequently asked questions

How much does sofa cleaning cost in Islamabad?

Sofa cleaning is normally priced per seat, so the number of seats is the starting point — a three-seater plus two armchairs counts as five. On top of that, the fabric type, how dirty it is and whether there are stains or odour to treat all affect the price. Send photos on WhatsApp and we give you one fixed figure in writing before starting — it does not change on the day unless the sofa differs from the photos.

How long does a sofa take to dry?

Usually four to six hours with the air movers we use, and often faster in Islamabad's drier months. It will feel slightly damp to the touch when we leave, not wet. Keeping a window open or a fan running speeds it up. We would suggest not sitting on it until it is fully dry.

Will the stains come out completely?

Most will. Food, drink, body oil and general soiling almost always lift well. What we cannot promise is dye transfer, ink, bleach marks, paint or anything that has chemically changed the fibre colour. We test and inspect before starting and tell you honestly what we expect to achieve — we would rather set the expectation correctly than take your money and disappoint you.

Do you clean leather sofas?

Leather and rexine need conditioning and surface treatment rather than the wet extraction we use on fabric, so they are a different job. Message us with a photo and we will tell you honestly whether we can help or whether you need a leather specialist.

Do I need to bring the sofa anywhere?

No. We come to you and clean it in place. All we need is enough space to work around the sofa and access to a power socket and water. Nothing is taken away and there is no waiting days to get your furniture back.

Can you get rid of the smell as well as the dirt?

Yes. Odour lives in the fabric and foam, so extraction removes most of it along with the soil that causes it, and we follow with a deodorising treatment on the source rather than spraying perfume over the top. Strong pet or smoke odour sometimes needs a second treatment, and we will tell you if we think that is likely.

How often should sofas be cleaned?

For a normal household, once a year keeps a sofa in good condition. Every six months is sensible if you have young children, pets, or a light-coloured fabric, or if anyone in the house has dust allergies. Leaving it much beyond two years means the soil has bonded to the fibres and the result is never quite as good.
