Mattress Cleaning in Islamabad and Rawalpindi

What is actually inside a mattress

You spend roughly a third of your life on your mattress, and it absorbs a great deal in that time. An adult loses moisture every night through sweat, along with skin cells and body oils, and almost all of it goes into the mattress. Those skin cells feed dust mites, whose waste is one of the most common indoor allergy triggers, and the moisture and oil build up in the upper foam layers where no amount of changing the sheets will touch them.

This is why mattress cleaning is a health job more than a cosmetic one. A mattress can look perfectly clean under the sheet and still be the reason someone in the house wakes up congested, sneezing or with itchy eyes every morning. If anyone in your home has asthma, dust allergies or eczema, the mattress is usually the first thing worth addressing.

We clean mattresses at homes across Islamabad and Rawalpindi, and for guest houses, hostels and clinics in both cities. Every size is handled — single, double, queen, king and cot mattresses — along with headboards and divan bases, which collect the same build-up and are usually forgotten.

What is included in a mattress clean

Both sides are treated where the mattress can be turned. Everything below is standard.

  • Inspection — mattress type, fabric and any staining or odour assessed before we start
  • Deep vacuuming — high-suction vacuum of the surface, seams, piping and sides to remove skin cells, dust and mite debris
  • Stain pre-treatment — individual treatment of visible marks, sweat discolouration and spills
  • Shampoo and hot-water extraction — solution worked into the upper layers and extracted back out with the soil it releases
  • Sanitising treatment — anti-bacterial and anti-dust-mite treatment applied to the sleeping surface
  • Both sides where possible, plus the sides, seams and piping
  • Deodorising — the odour source in the foam treated, not masked
  • Controlled drying — air movers used so the mattress is sleepable the same night

What this service does not include

  • Repair of torn covers, broken springs, sagging or structural damage
  • Guaranteed removal of old, deep-set biological staining that has soaked through to the inner foam — surface improvement yes, complete removal not always
  • Memory foam and latex mattresses where the manufacturer prohibits wet cleaning — tell us the type and we will advise
  • Cleaning of duvets, pillows, quilts and bed linen
  • Bed frame repair or assembly
  • Bed bug extermination, which is a pest control job — cleaning alone will not solve an infestation

How it works

  1. Tell us the sizes

How many mattresses and what size each one is, plus any staining, odour or allergy concerns in the house.

  2. Inspection

We check the mattress type and construction. Some memory foam and latex mattresses should not be wet cleaned, and we will tell you before starting.

  3. Vacuum, treat, extract, sanitise

Deep vacuum first, stains pre-treated, then shampoo and hot-water extraction, finishing with the anti-bacterial and anti-mite treatment.

  4. Dry the same day

Air movers run until the mattress is dry enough to make up and sleep on the same night.

What affects the price

  • Size and number of mattresses

Priced per mattress by size. Doing several in one visit is cheaper per mattress than booking separately.

  • Single or double sided

Turning and cleaning both sides is more thorough and takes longer.

  • Level of staining

Heavy sweat discolouration or biological staining needs extra pre-treatment and sometimes a second pass.

  • Mattress type

Spring, foam and hybrid mattresses need different amounts of moisture and different drying care.

  • Access

Which floor, lift availability, and how much space there is to work around the bed.

Frequently asked questions

Can I sleep on the mattress the same night?

Yes, in almost all cases. We use air movers to control the drying and aim to have it ready to make up the same evening. Booking a morning slot gives the most margin. If you have several mattresses done at once, we will tell you the realistic timing when we quote.

Does it get rid of dust mites?

It removes a great deal of them along with the skin cells they feed on, and the sanitising treatment targets what remains. No cleaning process eliminates them permanently, because they return wherever people sleep. What regular cleaning does is keep the population and the allergen load low enough that most people stop reacting.

Will old stains come out?

Fresh and moderate staining usually improves a lot. Old biological stains that have soaked through into the inner foam often lighten considerably but may not disappear completely, because the discolouration is below the surface we can reach. We look at the mattress and tell you what to expect before you commit.

Do you clean memory foam mattresses?

It depends on the mattress. Some memory foam and latex products should not be wet cleaned at all, and doing so can damage the foam or void a warranty. Tell us the make and type when you enquire and we will tell you honestly whether wet extraction is safe or whether a deep vacuum and sanitising treatment is the better option.

How often should a mattress be cleaned?

Every six to twelve months for most households. Every six months is worth it if anyone has asthma, dust allergies or eczema, if children sleep in the bed, or in guest houses and hostels where bedding turns over constantly. Between cleans, airing the mattress and washing bed linen weekly makes a real difference.

Will this get rid of bed bugs?

No, and we will not claim otherwise. Bed bugs are a pest control problem and need proper treatment of the mattress, frame and the room around it. Cleaning removes debris and improves hygiene but will not eliminate an infestation. If you suspect bed bugs, deal with the pest control first and book the cleaning afterwards.
