Glass beyond windows
Modern buildings in Islamabad and Rawalpindi use a great deal of glass that is not a window: floor-to-ceiling office partitions, glass balustrades on balconies and staircases, shopfronts and entrance doors, shower enclosures, splashbacks and large mirrors. All of it shows every mark, and most of it collects a specific problem that ordinary glass cleaner cannot handle.
That problem is mineral deposit. Water evaporating off glass leaves behind the calcium and magnesium it was carrying, and in hard-water areas that builds into a cloudy film that spray-and-wipe simply smears around. Shower screens are the worst case, because they get it daily and the deposits combine with soap residue and body oils into a layer that has to be broken down chemically before it will come off at all.
We clean glass across both cities for homes, offices, clinics, salons, restaurants and retail units — partitions, balustrades, shopfronts, shower enclosures, mirrors and glass tables. As with windows, we cover what can be reached safely from inside, from a balcony or from ground level; high-rise facade work needing rope access is not something we take on.
What is included in glass cleaning
Priced by area or by unit depending on what you have. Everything below is standard.
- Both faces of the glass wherever both are safely accessible
- Hard-water and mineral deposit removal — chemical treatment that dissolves the deposits rather than smearing them
- Soap scum and body-oil removal on shower screens and enclosures
- Frames, channels and fixings — the tracks of sliding shower doors, partition channels and balustrade fixings
- Handles, hinges and clamps polished as part of the job
- Mirrors — including the edges and the frame, and the spotting that builds up in bathrooms
- Streak-free squeegee finish checked from the angles the glass is actually viewed from
- Surrounding protection — floors, fittings and furnishings covered, and any run-off cleaned up

How it works
Tell us what glass you have
Partitions, balustrades, shower screens, shopfront or mirrors — roughly how much, and whether hard-water marks are the main issue. Photos help.
Test patch on deposits
Where there is heavy mineral build-up we treat a small area first, so you can see whether it will come off or whether the glass is etched.
Treat, clean, squeegee
Deposits broken down chemically first, then the full clean and a squeegee finish, with frames and fixings done as we go.
Check the finish
Glass is checked in the light and from the viewing angles that actually matter before we leave.
What affects the price
Total glass area
Priced per square foot for partitions and facades, or per unit for shower enclosures and mirrors.
Severity of mineral deposits
Light spotting wipes off. Years of hard-water build-up on a shower screen needs chemical dwell time and repeat passes.
Access
Ground-level and internal glass is straightforward. Anything at height that needs specialist access we do not undertake.
One side or both
External faces of partitions and balustrades take longer and sometimes need different access.
Frequency
Regular commercial schedules are cheaper per visit than one-off deep cleans.
Frequently asked questions
Can you remove the white marks on my shower screen?
In most cases, yes. Those marks are mineral deposits combined with soap residue, and they need a chemical that dissolves the deposit rather than a general glass spray. Where the screen has been left for years the minerals can etch into the glass itself, which is permanent damage rather than dirt. We test a small area first and tell you honestly which it is before you pay for the full job.
Do you clean office partitions?
Yes — glass partitions, meeting-room walls, glass doors and reception screens, on both faces. Most offices book this monthly or quarterly, and we work outside business hours so nobody is cleaning around your staff. We can combine it with a janitorial contract if you want everything on one schedule.
Will you clean the glass on a high building?
Only what can be reached safely from inside, from a balcony or terrace, or from ground level with poles. We do not do rope access or cradle work. If your building needs that, we will tell you straight rather than take the job and improvise, and we would rather lose the work than have someone get hurt.
How is this different from window cleaning?
In practice they overlap, and if you need both we quote them together. Window cleaning is about panes, frames, tracks and sills in a house or office. Glass cleaning covers everything else made of glass — partitions, balustrades, shopfronts, shower enclosures, splashbacks and mirrors — where the challenge is more often mineral deposits than dust.
Do you clean glass balcony railings?
Yes, and they need it more than most glass because they take dust, rain run-off and traffic grime from outside while being handled from inside. We clean both faces where the outer face can be reached safely from the balcony itself, along with the clamps and fixings.
How often should office glass be cleaned?
Monthly for partitions and internal glass in a normal office, and fortnightly or weekly for glass entrance doors and shopfronts where hands are constantly on them. Glass is the surface visitors notice first, which is why most commercial clients put it on a fixed schedule rather than calling when it looks bad.
