Why dining chairs need their own cleaning
Dining chairs collect a very specific kind of dirt. They sit next to food every day, so the fabric picks up oil vapour from hot dishes, splashes of curry and tea, and the constant contact of hands and clothes at the same spots on the seat edge and armrests. Because the staining builds slowly, most families only notice how dark the seats have become when one chair is compared with the spare that never gets used.
Wiping the fabric with a wet cloth pushes this mix of oil and dust deeper into the foam. Proper cleaning works the other way: we vacuum the loose dust out first, pre-treat food and oil marks individually, shampoo the fabric with an upholstery machine, and then pull the moisture and dissolved dirt back out with hot-water extraction. The seat dries firm and clean instead of damp and smelling of detergent.

Do you clean the chairs at home or take them away?
At your home. The machines we use for chairs are portable, so the team cleans the full set in your dining room or on a veranda if you prefer. There is no transport risk and nothing leaves the house. A set of six to eight chairs usually takes between one and two hours depending on condition.
How long do the chairs take to dry?
Hot-water extraction pulls most of the moisture back out of the seat, so chairs are damp rather than wet when we finish. In dry weather they are usable in two to four hours; in humid monsoon weeks allow a little longer or let us schedule the clean for the morning so seats dry through the day.
Can you remove curry, oil and tea stains?
Usually yes — food-based stains respond well when they are treated individually before shampooing, which is exactly how we work. What we cannot promise is removal of old stains that have chemically bonded with the dye of the fabric, or marks that were set by ironing or hot washing. We test first and tell you honestly what will come out before you commit.
Do you clean velvet and delicate fabric chairs?
Yes. Velvet, chenille and delicate blends are cleaned with gentler solutions, lower moisture and a hidden-spot colour test first. If a fabric is too fragile for wet cleaning we say so on inspection and offer dry methods instead — we would rather decline than damage a seat.
Do you also clean sofas on the same visit?

Do you clean office chairs too?
