Carpet Cleaning in Islamabad and Rawalpindi

Why vacuuming is not enough

A carpet is a filter. Everything that comes through the door — dust, grit, pollen, food particles, the fine sand that blows across both cities for most of the year — works its way down through the pile and settles at the base of the fibres, where a vacuum cannot reach. That buried grit is what actually wears a carpet out: every footstep grinds it against the fibres and cuts them, which is why heavily used areas go flat and dull long before the rest.

Deep extraction cleaning solves both problems at once. Hot water and cleaning solution are injected into the pile under pressure to release the embedded soil, and a powerful vacuum immediately pulls the water back out along with it. Done properly, that lifts the pile as well as cleaning it, so the carpet looks fuller afterwards rather than flattened.

We clean carpets and rugs across Islamabad and Rawalpindi in homes, offices, clinics and event halls — wall-to-wall carpet, area rugs, stair runners and commercial carpet tiles. Most of our residential work is seasonal, ahead of Eid or winter, while offices tend to book us in quarterly.

What is included in a carpet clean

Wall-to-wall carpet is normally priced by area; rugs are priced individually. Everything below is standard either way.

  • Inspection and fibre test — fibre type and colourfastness tested in a hidden area before we apply anything
  • Deep dry vacuuming — a slow, thorough vacuum to pull out loose grit and sand before any water goes in
  • Stain pre-treatment — individual treatment of visible marks, food, drink, oil and traffic lanes
  • Hot-water extraction — solution injected under pressure and immediately extracted along with the released soil
  • Edge and corner detailing — the perimeter and corners done by hand, where machines cannot reach properly
  • Pile grooming — the pile brushed back up so it dries standing rather than flattened
  • Deodorising — treatment of the odour source within the fibres
  • Controlled drying — air movers used so the carpet dries in hours, not days, and does not develop a musty smell

What this service does not include

  • Repair of tears, burns, unravelling edges or re-fixing loose carpet
  • Guaranteed removal of bleach marks, dye transfer, ink, paint or anything that has permanently changed the fibre colour
  • Lifting, re-laying or re-stretching fitted carpet
  • Very delicate hand-knotted or silk rugs, which need specialist off-site treatment — tell us what you have and we will advise honestly
  • Sofa and mattress cleaning, which are separate services
  • Moving heavy furniture — we clean around what cannot be moved safely

How it works

  1. Tell us the area or the rugs

Roughly how many square feet of carpet, or how many rugs and what size. Mention any specific stains, pets or odour.

  2. Inspection and test

We check fibre type and test colourfastness in a hidden spot. If something will not come out, we say so before starting.

  3. Vacuum, pre-treat, extract

A slow dry vacuum first, stains treated individually, then hot-water extraction section by section with the edges done by hand.

  4. Groom and dry

Pile groomed upright and air movers set up so it dries quickly and evenly.

What affects the price

  • Total area or number of rugs

Wall-to-wall carpet is priced per square foot; rugs are priced individually by size.

  • Fibre type

Wool, synthetic and blends need different solutions and different drying care. Wool in particular has to be handled gently.

  • How soiled it is

Traffic lanes, heavy soiling and years since the last clean all add passes.

  • Stains, pets and odour

Pet accidents and heavy staining need extra pre-treatment and sometimes a second extraction.

  • Furniture and access

Whether the room has to be worked around, which floor it is on, and lift access for the machine.

Frequently asked questions

How long does carpet take to dry?

Typically four to eight hours with the air movers we bring, depending on thickness, humidity and airflow in the room. Wool takes longer than synthetic. It will be damp rather than wet when we leave, and you can walk on it carefully straight away. Keeping windows open or fans running shortens it considerably.

Will the carpet get dirty faster after cleaning?

Not if it is extracted properly. That reputation comes from shampoo-only cleaning, which leaves detergent residue in the fibres that then attracts dirt like a magnet. Because we extract the solution back out under suction, there is no residue left to cause that, and the carpet should stay cleaner longer than before.

Do I need to move the furniture?

We move what two people can shift safely and clean underneath. Very heavy wardrobes, beds and cabinets we clean around rather than risk damage. If you want the whole floor done, clearing small items and lamps before we arrive speeds things up and keeps the price down.

Can you clean rugs as well as fitted carpet?

Yes — area rugs, runners and prayer rugs are all cleaned in place at your home. The exception is very delicate hand-knotted or silk pieces, which really need controlled off-site treatment. Send us a photo and we will tell you honestly which category yours falls into.

Will pet smells come out?

Usually yes, if the accident has not soaked through into the underlay or floor beneath. Odour lives at the base of the fibres, so extraction removes most of it and a deodorising treatment handles what is left. Where urine has gone right through to the padding, cleaning the surface will not fully solve it — we will tell you at inspection if we suspect that.

How often should carpets be cleaned?

Once a year for a normal household, and every six months if you have pets, small children or a light-coloured carpet. Offices with daily foot traffic are usually best on a quarterly schedule. Regular cleaning is genuinely cheaper over time, because it is the buried grit that wears carpet out and shortens its life.
